Neha Dakshit is a documentary filmmaker and screenwriter using storytelling as a tool for connection, building empathy and creating change.

Neha’s identity as a South Asian woman who grew up in an immigrant family has informed her drive to tell stories that offer diverse perspectives and lift up groups that have been historically underrepresented, and she hopes that she can use her skills as a storyteller to progress meaningful change.

Currently, Neha is pursuing her graduate degree at Syracuse University in Television, Radio and Film. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2023 with a degree in Telecommunications and a concentration in Film and T.V. Production as well as a minor in Women’s Studies.
